About GRVLY

Why we built GRVLY

Ever tried planning a gravel ride using a regular route planner? You know the drill: endless clicking to steer the route onto actual gravel roads, or you just accept what it suggests and end up on some overgrown trail that barely qualifies as a path.

The problem is that most route planners weren't designed with gravel cyclists in mind. They're optimized for pavement or hiking, not for those perfect dirt roads and forest tracks that make gravel riding so good. We built GRVLY because we got tired of fighting that battle. It's a route planner that actually understands gravel.

Powered by OpenStreetMap

Under the hood, GRVLY is built on OpenStreetMap, the same community-driven map data that millions of people rely on. We've added our own gravel-specific routing smarts on top of that, so you can find the good stuff without all the guesswork.

What we do

GRVLY is made by Art of Saying Hello World. We believe the best tools are the ones that stay out of your way, so you can focus on what actually matters: planning rides you're excited to do.
